Editorial team and policy
MyAshrai is an independent editorial project that makes Israeli credit card data — fees, cashback, loyalty clubs and
benefits — easy to compare and understand. This page explains who writes the content, where the data comes from, how
independence is protected and when corrections are published.
Who we are
MyAshrai is run by a small editorial team and pulls together information that is normally scattered across bank
websites, card companies (Isracard, Cal, MAX) and fee schedules. We are not a bank, not a card issuer and not
financial advisers — we are an independent comparison tool.
Content is published in Hebrew and English for consumers in Israel, including new immigrants and foreign residents
working out how the local credit market works. Every page carries an update date, and material changes to card
data are recorded in version history.
How we collect and verify data
- Primary sources: official product pages from banks and card companies, fee tables and binding publications.
- Secondary sources: Bank of Israel publications and consumer comparisons, used to verify terminology and fee caps.
- Cross-checking: every material figure (annual fee, cashback rate, club) is confirmed against at least two sources before publication.
- Update cadence: the catalogue is reviewed periodically, and refreshed pages receive a new update date in the structured data.
The catalogue currently covers 126 cards. When we find a gap — a card that was published but not listed — it goes on
the work list and is checked against the source before being added. We would rather have a missing page than a wrong figure.
How the site is funded
Some links to bank or card company websites may be affiliate links, and if a card is opened through this site we may
receive a commission. That commission does not influence order, ranking or content: we do not sell positions in the
table and there are no "sponsored cards".
If a card is not a good fit — even if it has an affiliate programme — we will not present it as one. We also list cards
that pay us nothing at all.
Corrections policy
If you spot a wrong figure — an annual fee, cashback rate, club or broken link — email
[email protected]. We check every report against the official source and
publish a correction on the affected page. Material corrections receive an updated date and a short changelog note.
We do not provide personal financial advice, and nothing on this site is a substitute for professional advice.
