Privacy Policy

MyAshrai (the "Site") is an independent credit-card comparison tool for the Israeli market. We are not a bank, not a card issuer and not a financial adviser. This document explains what data is collected when you use the Site, why, and what your rights are.

1. What we collect

• Information you give us: if you email [email protected] — your email address and the content of your message.
• Basic technical data: IP address, browser and operating system, device type, language, and the pages you view.
• Measurement data: aggregate usage statistics (views, referrer, visit duration).
• Your consent choice: stored locally in your browser (localStorage).

What we do NOT collect: we never collect credit-card numbers, bank account details, national ID numbers or any other personal financial data. Every calculation (net-profit calculator, "the card for me") runs entirely in your browser and is never sent to a server.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking stops measurement but does not affect the Site or any of its tools.

3. Why we use the data

• To run and secure the Site and prevent abuse.
• To measure traffic and understand usage so we can improve the tool, content and comparisons.
• To reply to messages you send us.
• To comply with legal requirements.

4. Sharing with third parties

We do not sell personal data. Data may reach the following service providers, solely to operate the Site:

• Cloudflare — hosting, delivery (CDN) and cookieless measurement.
• Statcounter — traffic measurement, and only after you consent.
• Google Fonts — loading the Heebo typeface (your IP address may be transmitted to them).

Data may also be disclosed where we are required to do so by law or court order.

5. How long data is kept

Measurement data is retained by the measurement providers under their own policies (typically up to 26 months). Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to handle your enquiry and meet legal requirements.

6. Your rights

Under the Israeli Privacy Protection Law, 5741-1981 and its regulations — and, if you are resident in the European Union, also under the GDPR — you may:

• Review the data collected about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of the data.
• Object to processing or withdraw consent — at any time, via the button in section 2.
• Lodge a complaint with the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority (Ministry of Justice).

7. Commercial disclosure

MyAshrai is an independent comparison tool. We are not owned by a bank or a card issuer, and we do not accept payment for placement in the recommendations, the filtering, or the ordering of results. Results are determined by the calculation and the data alone.

In the future we may display commercial links or receive payment from banks, card issuers or partners for referrals (for example, payment per lead or per card opened). If and when that happens it will be disclosed transparently and will not affect comparison results or the order of recommendations. As of the date of this document, the Site receives no such payment and contains no paid links.

Data on the Site is gathered from public sources published by the banks and card companies and may change over time. Always verify exact terms with the bank or card issuer before making a decision.

8. Minors

The Site is not intended for children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The update date appears at the top of the page, and continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
